'울릉'은 획 하나만 다를 뿐 두 글자를 뒤집으면 대칭을 이루는 형상으로 함께 마주하며 올곧은 방향으로 나아가는 울릉의 비전을 담았습니다. 고유한 울릉의 가치와 미래로 성장하고 번영해 나가는 미래의 울릉이 마주하고 있음을 의미합니다.

The word 'Ulleung' embodies the vision of Ulleung moving forward straight ahead, and through the two symmetrical characters that differ by only one stroke when flipped, it symbolizes that Ulleung's unique value and the future Ulleung of growth and prosperity are facing each other.
